FIELD: oil and gas industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to machine components and parts, namely, to flow regulators, providing passage of gas, liquid or gas-liquid flows, and can be used in oil and gas production, as well as in petrochemical industries. Magnetic flow regulator used in extraction and processing of liquid and gaseous minerals includes housing with devices for inlet and outlet of flowing medium, a saddle or insulating flat or curved surface. Flow regulator comprises one magnet or electromagnet with pre-calculated magnetic force, gate, gate locking device. Gate valve includes one magnet or electromagnet with pre-calculated magnetic force, wherein gate is made in form of disc with flat or curved surface, and is installed with possibility of controlled movement above seat or insulating surface, note here that said locking device comprises one magnet or electromagnet or partially made of magnetic or ferromagnetic material.
EFFECT: possibility of controlling flow without interruption thereof.
