NORMALLY CLOSED ELECTROMAGNETIC VALVE Russian patent published in 2021 - IPC F16K31/02

Abstract RU 2752959 C1

FIELD: valves.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to apparatuses for controlling gas and liquid flows and is intended for use in systems with remote automated control. The normally closed electromagnetic valve is comprised of a body with a passage cavity (6) connected with the inlet (5) and outlet (4) gas channels, a seat (14), an armature (11) with a locking member (12) embedded on the front end thereof adjacent to the seat (14), a permanent magnet (15) installed on the side of the rear end of the armature (11), a spring (13) pressing the armature to the seat (14), and an electric magnet consisting of two solenoids (8, 9) and a magnetic core formed by magnetic conducting elements enveloping the solenoids. One of the two solenoids (8) is low-current, intended for a long current mode, and the other one (9) is high-current pulse, intended for a mode of short-term current pulse activation. A tuning ring (19) made of a non-magnetic material is provided between the permanent magnet (15) and the armature (11). The low-current solenoid (8) can be connected in series with a resistor (25). A board (21) with magnetically controlled contacts (22) can be installed on the outer surface of the rear wall (3) of the valve in the area adjacent to the non-magnetic gap (20) made in said wall.

EFFECT: reduction in the power consumption of the valve, a provided capability of operation in a long-term mode without deactivation for cooling, a provided capability of operation with large pressure drops and large flow sections, a provided capability of effective remote sounding of operating capacity using magnetically controlled contacts, as well as the improved reliability of the valve.
