FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to remote monitoring of objects. Method for identification of nascent defects of process objects comprises obtaining control object data; generating a reference sample of the operation of the object; constructing condition matrices and empirical models of control object condition prognostics. Disorder is also determined and integral criteria characterizing deviation of parameters of the monitoring object; analyzing information from the monitoring object; modifying the reference sample; empirical models are updated. Degree of deviation of the parameters of the control object from the empirical models is also determined and the discrepancies for such indicators are determined. Then calculating the calculated errors; determining anomaly for object operation index; determining a defect type for each abnormality; classifier of defects of an object is formed, and a nascent defect and prediction of its development are determined.
EFFECT: automatic defect detection.
