SUBSTANCE: invention relates to remote monitoring and diagnostics of process equipment. Method for automated predictive diagnostics of controlled objects includes obtaining data of the controlled object, characterizing the current operating parameters of said object and performing the steps, on which data of the control object is validated, additional indicators are calculated, models of functional units of the control object are created, reference values of parameters are sampled, constructing a matrix of normal states of the control object, calculating the modelled values of parameters, calculating the deviation between the actual and model values of the parameters, actual and model values of parameters are smoothed, rules for operation with settings are generated, recursive calculation of rules for operation with settings is performed, generating diagnostic rules for localization and indication of type of defect of object, recursive calculation of diagnostic rules is performed, time of occurrence of controlled parameter values exceeding is calculated.

EFFECT: real-time detection of incipient and developing deviations of control objects operation parameters from the normal state.
