FIELD: transportation.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to console assemblies located in passenger compartments of vehicles. Console assembly for vehicle comprises outer frame, rotary compartment and displacement mechanism. Outer frame has compartment opening defined therein. From the upper opening of the opening for the compartment to the position within the inner volume defined by the outer frame, an arc-shaped rear wall extends. Rotary compartment is located in opening for compartment. Displacement mechanism is located in inner volume of outer frame and extends from arched rear wall to rear wall of rotary compartment. Displacement mechanism shifts the rotary compartment from the closed position towards the open position at a constant angular speed.
EFFECT: possibility of accessing various auxiliary elements located in central console.
