FIELD: automotive industry.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to vehicle storage compartments. Vehicle storage compartment comprises a vehicle storage compartment, a door, an elastic member, a holding mechanism and a mechanical timer. Vehicle storage compartments forms an opening to provide access to the compartment. Door is movably mounted on the compartment near the opening to move between an open position and a closed position. Elastic element is designed to create a force on the door to move the door from the open position to the closed position. Holding mechanism selectively holds the door in the open position. Mechanical timer is set by opening the door.
EFFECT: it is possible to prevent unauthorized access to the storage compartment.
