FIELD: oil and gas industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to catalysts for oil refining and petrochemical industry and can be used in production of dewaxing catalysts and use thereof in oil refining and petrochemical industry to obtain low-hardening base oils from high-boiling petroleum fractions. Disclosed porous catalyst is prepared based on a zeolite of an aluminosilicate or gallium aluminosilicate composition selected from ZSM-5, ZSM-11, or a mixture thereof, treated with solutions of organic or inorganic acids, granulated with aluminum oxide as binder, followed by drying and calcination and subjected to additional treatment with superheated steam at temperature higher than 650 °C for at least 5 hours. Method of producing base oils with low pour point by dewaxing of straight-run vacuum gas oil (350–530 °C) is carried out at reaction temperatures of not lower than 330 °C, pressure of not more than 0.3 MPa and mass consumption of raw material 2–4 h-1. Catalyst used is a solid porous catalyst prepared using the method described above.
EFFECT: simple method of preparing a catalyst, high output of base oils with low pour point from straight-run vacuum gas oil and longer duration of inter-regeneration range of the catalyst.
