FIELD: catalysts.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a catalyst for anhydrous deparaffinisation of hydrocarbon raw materials and a method for anhydrous deparaffinisation of hydrocarbon raw materials using said catalyst. Catalyst contains a granular mixture of an aluminosilicate zeolite ZSM-5 with a SiO2:Al2O3 molar ratio from 25 to 50 with a binder. Aluminium oxide or silicon oxide is used as a binder. The content of zeolite is 50 to 80 wt.%. The mixture of the aluminosilicate zeolite ZSM-5 with a binder is modified with copper in an amount of 0.5 to 3.0 wt.% as calculated for elemental copper. The zeolite is modified with copper in two stages: first, the zeolite is held in an aqueous solution of copper salt, followed by treating the resulting copper form of the zeolite with an aqueous solution of carbonate or ammonium hydroxide. Said modification is performed at least twice.
EFFECT: creation of a zeolite catalyst exhibiting high stability in the process of anhydrous deparaffinisation of hydrocarbon raw materials; expanded range of available catalysts and hydrocarbon fractions applied for deparaffinisation.
