SUBSTANCE: invention relates to methods for producing diesel fuel with improved low-temperature characteristics. A method is proposed for carrying out the second stage of feedstock hydrocracking at elevated pressure and heating in a hydrogen-containing gas flow in the presence of a heterogeneous catalyst. The catalyst contains, wt.%: Pt - 0.3-0.6, the carrier - the rest, and the carrier contains, wt.%: one-dimensional medium-porous zeolite ZSM-23 with the MTT structure and the silicate module SiO2/Al2O3 = 48 in the amount of 10, 0-20.0; ultrastable zeolite Y with silicate module SiO2/Al2O3 = 80 in the amount of 10.0-15.0; binder - γ-alumina - the rest. The catalyst has a specific surface area of ​​at least 330 m2/g, a total pore volume of at least 0.60 cm3/g, while the volume of micropores is at least 0.015 cm3/g and is granules with a cross section in the form of a trefoil or quatrefoil with a diameter of the circumscribed circle not more than 1.6 mm and not more than 15 mm long. At the same time, the process of the second stage of hydrocracking is carried out at a temperature of 320-340°C, a pressure of 6.0 MPa, a feedstock volume flow rate of 1.5 h-1, a hydrogen/feedstock volume ratio of 1000 nm3/m3.

EFFECT: lowering the temperature to achieve the desired conversion of raw materials, a significantly higher yield of the diesel fraction, lower cloud point and solidification temperatures of the resulting diesel fraction.
