FIELD: astronautics.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to space engineering, particularly, to navigation systems of artificial earth satellites (AES). AES navigation system comprises system control device and connected to it navigation signals conversion device into navigation parameters, unit for converting navigation parameters into initial parameters of motion of centre of mass (PMCM) of AES and prediction unit of PMCM. At the same time, the navigation system of the artificial earth satellite includes connected with the system control device unit for determining errors of prediction of the PMCM at the previous section, a unit for calculating initial deviations of the MCM at the previous section and a unit for correcting the initial PMCM at the current section. Unit for calculating initial PMCM at the previous section in case of circular or nearly circular orbits has a structure which realizes analytical dependences of these deviations from prediction errors of the PMCM of the AES at the previous section.

EFFECT: technical result of the invention is higher accuracy of predicting a PMCM of a satellite.
