PORTABLE DEVICE FOR CHECKING AN ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGE THROUGH A CONTAINER, A SYSTEM AND A METHOD ASSOCIATED THEREWITH Russian patent published in 2020 - IPC G01N21/64

Abstract RU 2720077 C2

FIELD: food industry; computer engineering.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to authentication of content, such as beverage, in particular, alcoholic beverage. Disclosed portable device for checking an alcoholic beverage in at least partially transparent container comprises: a single light source configured to emit a beam of monochrome excitation light having a wavelength in range of 350 nm to 650 nm; a beam separator oriented at 45° relative to the direction of emission of the light source to reflect the excitation light beam; focal and converging lens; positioning device providing orientation of the light beam originating from the light source, in direction substantially normal to the outer surface of the container. At that, the positioning device also provides positioning of the outer surface of the container at a predetermined distance from the focal lens, wherein the predetermined distance between the focal lens and the container is selected such that the light beam is focused within the container, at a distance from the container wall of less than 1 mm and preferably less than 500 mcm. Positioning device comprises a through hole for passage of light beam emanating from light source. Portable device also contains filtering device for filtering fluorescent radiation captured by a focal lens and transmitted by a beam divider, so as to eliminate wavelengths which are shorter or equal to the wavelength of the light emitted by the light source; a spectrometer module for generating a signal corresponding to the measured spectrum of the beverage fluorescent radiation; analytical module for comparison of measured spectrum with reference spectrum.

EFFECT: technical result is creation of portable, easy-to-use device, which is reliable and efficient.
