FIELD: cutting tools.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to cutting tools, namely to axes. Axe comprises head and axle. Head has a first attachment element for an axe handle which extends from the first side edge to the body portion and is located on the head first side, and a second axle attachment element that extends from the second lateral edge of the body portion and is located on the first side of the axe head. Body part of the head of the axe, the first and second elements for attachment of the axe handle are parts of a solid structure made by means of plastic deformation and cutting of a flat workpiece of the cutting blade having uniform thickness.

EFFECT: invention is aimed at improvement of operational characteristics and simplicity of manufacturing an axe.
