FIELD: construction.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to engineering surveys for construction of soil deformation properties by laboratory methods before construction and reconstruction of old buildings and structures. Device comprises holder for soil sample, main and loading dies with devices for their separate loading and a deformation meter, protrusions and corresponding slots for interaction with each other are formed in the handling and main dies. Device for loading die is made in the form of lever system with adjustable stopper and is equipped with force meter interacting with adjustable stopper by means of lever of loading device. Loading die has height fixators and indicators of vertical displacements of the main die and free surface of the soil sample are located on it. Diameter of the rigid holder exceeds the diameter of the main die.
EFFECT: possibility to carry out tests by the main die of larger size, which allows to measure tangential shear deformations at lateral expansion of sample, as well as increase of test information value, accuracy and reliability of obtained results.
