FIELD: solar engineering.
SUBSTANCE: planar high-voltage photoelectric module comprises electrically interconnected planar photoelectric elements located in one plane in a sealed shell between upper and lower protective coatings. Photovoltaic cells include a plate of semiconductor material, for example silicon, on which alternating p and n layers are arranged on one or both sides over the entire area of the plate. Layers p and n of type are arranged so that photoelectric elements represent several series-connected single photoconverters. Thickness of photoelectric elements is commensurable with thickness of traditional planar silicon photo converter with one p-n junction, and other dimensions coincide with sizes of traditional planar silicon photo converter with one p-n junction. Face or front and rear surfaces of the module are working.
EFFECT: invention provides operation of planar high-voltage photoelectric module with high output voltage, low dependence of power on uniformity of illumination and high reliability, increased efficiency at concentrated radiation due to use of multilayer planar high-voltage photoelectric elements and their connection.
