FIELD: measurement.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the measurement equipment. Method of calibrating gas flow meters reduces measurement error using structural method in measurement circuit with negative feedback with inclusion of integrating link in straight line. Method includes possibility to calibrate internal forced flow rate without using external measuring bench, determination of error during measurement of operating costs without dismantling flow meter from process pipeline, use of energy-controlled structural elements. If data are available for measuring flow rate in memory at selected points of static characteristics of flow meter, flow is supplied to reversed channel by reverse drive to selected point, measurement data are also stored in memory, obtained measurement data are compared in points, and flow meter errors are determined.

EFFECT: invention is intended for use in systems for measuring flow of gaseous media.
