FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to analytical chemistry and metrological provision of apparatus for measuring composition of solid and liquid substances and materials. Cations and anions are determined by capillary electrophoresis, then mass fraction of impurities is measured by mass spectrometry with inductively coupled plasma and weight fraction of organic component and crystallization water by thermogravimetry with differential scanning calorimetry with a mass spectrometer detector. If excess content of cations in the weight fraction of chloride ions is corrected, equal to product of excess content of cations in mol-eq/kg per molar weight of chlorine, and with excess content of anions in the weight ratio of the sodium ion in the case of NaCl or potassium in the case of KCl, a correction is made, which is equal to the product of excess content of anions in mol-eq / kg per molar weight of sodium or potassium.
EFFECT: method increases accuracy of determining the weight ratio of the basic component in salts of sodium chloride and chloride.
