FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used in the processing of sylvinite ores. Method for extracting sodium chloride and potassium chloride from a polymineral source involves feeding the ground polymineral source to the upper zone of a vertical three-zone reactor filled with a solution saturated with sodium chloride and potassium chloride. Recrystallization of sodium chloride in sodium chloride dihydrate and separation of crystals of sodium chloride dihydrate from crystals of potassium chloride by flotation are carried out. Crystals of sodium chloride dihydrate are lowered into the middle zone of the said reactor. Further, a multistage classification of the sodium chloride dihydrate crystals is carried out in a size-wise manner using an upward flow of the liquid phase and their simultaneous multi-stage countercurrent washing. Washed crystals of sodium chloride dihydrate enter the lower zone of said reactor. Hydrodynamic diameter of said crystals of sodium chloride dihydrate exceeds the maximum hydrodynamic diameter of the particles of the polymineral source by at least 20 mcm. Then, the washed crystals of sodium chloride dihydrate are recrystallized into anhydrous sodium chloride in the lower zone of said reactor filled with a solution saturated with sodium chloride.
EFFECT: invention makes it possible to increase the efficiency of extraction of KCl and NaCl from polymineral sources, the purity of the resulting potassium chloride and sodium chloride, and to reduce the amount of waste.
