FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to passive radar and can be used in single- and multi-position airborne radio monitoring systems to increase the efficiency of identifying bearings with ground-based radio sources (RS). This result in the method of adaptive spatial identification of bearings with ground-based RS is achieved due to the fact that the on-board radio monitoring station during the flight of the aircraft determines the bearings αi on RS from xi, yi points (ith point). First bearing from the resulting group is successively compared with the others until the angle of intersection thereof exceeds a given value. Two bearings, meeting the specified condition, are considered to be the reference and find the coordinates of
EFFECT: increased likelihood of correct identification of bearings and accuracy of determining the location of the RS.
