FIELD: radio engineering.
SUBSTANCE: used in multi-position radio monitoring systems in solving the problem of identifying the results of direction finding and determining the coordinates of radio emission sources by belonging to one source. In the claimed method, the bearing and coordinates of the radio emission source are identified using a confidence region, the shape and parameters of which take into account the features of the distribution law of the bearing and estimates of coordinates on the plane.
EFFECT: increasing the reliability of identifying the results of direction finding and determining the coordinates of radio emission sources by belonging to one source.
