FIELD: manufacturing technology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to production of armor protective materials. Method comprises making workpieces from porous aluminum to shape them corresponding to geometry of protected object, wherein on the end side of the workpiece a ledge with a cross-section in the form of a circle is drawn for supply of electric current and electrolyte to the volume of pores subjected to micro-arc oxidation (MAO), further, the localization circuit of the volume of pores subjected to MAO is fixed by impregnating the pores of the non-oxidized layer of the workpiece at a given depth with a hydrophobic dielectric polymer using a centrifuge, then hardening of localized pore volume of MAO blanks in a bath with electrolyte is carried out using a system of forced cooling and circulation of electrolyte, and after MAO protrusions on workpieces are mechanically removed.
EFFECT: providing the possibility of formation of one or more pore volumes in a single aluminum porous matrix, which are strengthened by MAO, separated by a clear boundary with an unoxidized volume of pores.
