FIELD: measurement technology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to seismic survey and can be used in engineering seismology to estimate intensity of seismic vibrations taking into account properties of soils composing territories of cities and construction sites. To increase the accuracy of determining increments of seismic intensity caused by strong earthquakes, in the area of analysis using three-component seismic detectors installed on soils with different engineering geological conditions, recording micro oscillations, fragmenting the obtained seismogram into short sections with minimal noisy, calculating the spectrum of each fragment, finding the resultant spectra of the horizontal components and the arithmetic mean of the spectra of horizontal oscillations of H and vertical V. After calculating the transfer function H/V, the maximum of the coefficient of amplification of transverse oscillations in the analyzed [(H/V)max]i and reference [(H/V)max]0 soils is selected, and seismic intensity increment is calculated from ratio
.
EFFECT: high efficiency and accuracy of determining increments of seismic intensity.
