FIELD: sports.
SUBSTANCE: proposed device makes it possible to build roller skates on one roller, to keep balance on which is not more difficult than on usual "ice" skates. Reason for instability of the single-roller skate is eliminated by providing the possibility to move the axis, on which the roller is attached, along the sole of the shoe. This movement is caused by the instinctive turn of the foot at the beginning of falling and directed towards the displacement of the center of gravity of the body relative to the support point. Moving to the new position the support point allows the skater to restore balance and continue movement.
EFFECT: purpose of this application is improvement of roller skates, bringing sensations from riding on them and accordingly their popularity to those for "ice" skates.
