FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine and is intended for biopsy and surgical material storage. Device for storage of biopsy and surgical material is a thermostat of thermo-insulating material, which includes a body with tight cover, divided by a partition into two compartments. First compartment comprises temperature controller with preset temperature 0.2 °C and operating heating interval 36.4–36.6 °C, power supply unit represented by voltage stabilizer, accumulator and tumbler connected by power cord with plug. Second compartment is equipped with separate tight cover from heat-insulating material and fixing elements for containers with biopsy-operational material of thyroid, comprises a temperature sensor and a thermocouple, represented by a base, 24 W incandescent lamp and a protective grating. Total volume of device is 0.020–0.025 m3. Volume of the second compartment is not less than half the total volume. Temperature regulator is made with possibility of connection with heating element and thermal sensor. Voltage stabilizer and the accumulator are made with the possibility of connection to the temperature regulator through the switching toggle switch between the stabilizer and the accumulator.

EFFECT: invention provides a compact and portable device, which enables to quickly and with high accuracy to achieve the required temperature conditions, as well as to maintain the excised material in optimum conditions.
