FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to laboratory diagnostics, and enables prediction of running of adenocarcinoma of the lung. That is ensured by immunohistochemical examination of the diagnostic material to detect presence of p63 protein expression. Additionally, molecular-genetic examination of the diagnostic material is carried out, mutations in the EGFR gene are detected. If observing both factors, a moderate clinical course of the disease is predicted, and combined targeted and immunotherapy is recommended. If observing the absence of p63 protein expression in the material and the presence of mutations in the EGFR gene, less severe pulmonary adenocarcinoma is predicted, and targeted therapy is recommended. If observing the absence of only mutations in the EGFR gene in the samples, the severe course of the disease is predicted, and chemotherapy is recommended according to the standard regimens.

EFFECT: invention enables detecting a degree of aggressiveness of the clinical course and correcting the patient's treatment.
