FIELD: medicine; cardiac surgery.

SUBSTANCE: tricuspid valve flaps are accessed and revised, infected areas are identified and excised. After excision of flap infected areas, free edges of front and back flaps are sewn together. At the same time, free ends of threads are left, for which the tension is carried out anteriorly, and an eight-shaped seam is applied on a fibrous ring in the area of the anterior-posterior commissure. One of threads is left free, and edges of front and back flaps are sewn with the second thread with a winding seam in the defect area to the point of sewn free edges of flaps. After that, this area is sewn with the same thread - a second seam line is applied in the opposite direction, wherein a winding seam with a sweep is used and knots are tied at ends of the formed seam, forming a bicuspidal valve, and implantation annuloplasty is performed by means of an implant from a fragment of a soft Duran ring with a length of 50-65 mm.

EFFECT: method allows one to increase the efficiency of treatment, reduce the disability of this category of patients, reduce the development of thromboembolic complications in the pulmonary artery system and eliminate the lifetime use of anticoagulant drugs.
