FIELD: oil and gas industry.
SUBSTANCE: unit includes a submersible motor, a mechanical impurity separator, a centrifugal pump and a jet pump located in series. The receiving chamber of the jet pump is hydraulically connected to the outlet of mechanical impurities from the separator. The mechanical impurities separator and the pump are housed in a casing. The separator is made of a cascade of separation stages. The casing is divided by longitudinal partitions into isolated ring sectors by the number of separation stages. Each of the ring sectors is connected to the outlet mechanical impurities by one of the separation stages. Above the last output belonging to the last separation stage, the cavities of each two adjacent sectors are sequentially covered by an end wall in which the jet pump is built in order to combine the flow of mechanical impurities passing therethrough into a common flow.
EFFECT: increase of reliability of the unit operation by protecting the production pump against abrasive wear and exclusion of clogging of the well by mechanical impurities.
