FIELD: electrical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to air cleaning and conditioning using electric discharge. Device comprises discharge electrode for electric discharge, counter electrode arranged to be located at a distance from discharge electrode, at that counter electrode is formed from electroconductive resin, having volume resistance of not more than 107 Ohm⋅cm, high-voltage power supply for application of output voltage between discharge electrode and counter electrode and control facility to control output voltage of high-voltage power supply. Control means performs discharge mode in order to create electric discharge between discharge electrode and counter electrode and voltage reduction mode for temporary reduction of output voltage of high-voltage power supply to voltage or below voltage, which does not cause electric discharge between discharge electrode and counter electrode, wherein, when the output voltage of the high-voltage power supply increases to a predetermined voltage, the control means changes over to a voltage reduction mode.
EFFECT: higher efficiency of dust collection.
