FIELD: electric current discharge systems, possibly used for breaking depositions, for repairing works, for restoration and cleaning wells, pipelines, heat exchanging systems, boilers, water heaters, coolers and so on. SUBSTANCE: apparatus includes unit for power supply and automatic operations, pulse generator. Input of high voltage power source of generator is connected with above mentioned unit; output of generator through charging circuit is connected with capacitive energy accumulator of pulse generator. High voltage output of capacitive energy accumulator through working discharge gap is connected with high voltage output of pulse generator; its low voltage output - with low voltage output of pulse generator that is ground through working grounding wire and discharge circuit. The last includes working electrode system and cable connecting working electrodes with outputs of pulse generator. Apparatus includes circuit connecting unit for power supply and automatic operations with protective grounding and with low voltage output of pulse generator. Apparatus is provided with protective discharge gap, unit for automatic protective deenergizing, unit for controlling working discharge gap, unit for controlling protective discharge gap. Protective discharge gap is connected with unit for automatic protection deenergizing; the last is connected with unit for power supply and automatic operations. Values of protective discharge gap are always more than those of working discharge gap. Invention provides necessary safety degree for operators, possibility for rapidly tuning amplitude-frequency characteristics of output parameters in wide range, for setting optimal relation between repetition frequency of discharges and pulse energy.
