Slot includes connecting slot 142 communicating with sharpened recess 170. Length of sharpened recess 170 in circumferential direction of the tire increases towards the end section of the block in direction along the tire width.

EFFECT: improvement of tire motion characteristics on ice-covered and dry roads at high level of wear resistance.
