SUBSTANCE: invention relates to computer engineering, intended for identification of articles. Technical result is achieved by a system for identifying a jewellery article or article made of precious metals, comprising a chip, identifying a piece of jewellery or an article from precious metals, and placing a jewellery or precious metal article with the possibility of coating with jewellery enamel when placed in jewellery or articles from precious metals, where the chip contains: a microcircuit, a built-in radio antenna, a microcontroller, a reader. Reader device is configured to be connected to a computing device which is configured to: connecting to one database or one cloud server, comparing identification data and outputting to a display device, connected to said computing device, identification data obtained from said chip and coinciding with identification data stored in said database or in said server.

EFFECT: technical result consists in improvement of efficiency of identification of information on products for prevention of attempts of unauthorized counterfeit of identification data of articles.
