FIELD: waste processing and disposal.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the utilization of floating facilities containing radioactive wastes. Method of forming a package for long-term storage of radioactive wastes, wherein the utilized floating object is installed on a slipway, a radioactive unit is cut out, uncontaminated nasal and fodder blocks are moved for subsequent recycling. Installation of the utilized floating object on the slip-bed is carried out on the movable supporting device, which is installed on the slip, including steel keel beams and ship-mounted trolleys. After cutting of radioactive block to steel keel beams under radioactive block bottom protection sections are fixed. Prior to installation of disposed floating facility on the slipway, radiation survey of recycled floating object is performed. If the results of the radiation survey of the recycled floating facility do not meet the requirements for transport packages, vertical protective sections are attached to the bottom protective sections. Vertical protective sections are attached to each other and a roof is installed.

EFFECT: invention simplifies the method of forming a package and reduces metal consumption of the package.
