FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to production of catalyst for hydrodemetallization, containing: an aluminium oxide support, an active hydrogenating-dehydrogenating phase containing at least one group VIB metal of the periodic table of elements, optionally at least one group VIII metal of the periodic table, optionally phosphorus, wherein said catalyst has: specific surface area SBET from 75 to 150 m2/g, total pore volume from 0.55 to 0.85 ml/g, mesopore average diameter from 16 to 28 nm, mesopore volume from 0.50 to 0.90 ml/g, macropore volume of less than 15 % of total pore volume, said method comprising at least: a) a first step of depositing at least one alkaline precursor and at least one acid precursor, wherein at least one of the two contains aluminium, at pH value from 8.5 to 10.5, depth of reaction at the first stage from 5 to 13 %, at temperature from 20 to 90 °C and during 2–30 minutes; b) a heating step; c) second deposition step by adding to suspension of at least one alkaline precursor and at least one acid precursor, wherein at least one of alkaline or acid precursor contains aluminium, with pH value from 8.5 to 10.5 and depth of reaction at second stage from 87 to 95 %; d) filtration step; e) a drying step; f) molding step; g) thermal treatment step; h) a step for impregnation with the active hydrogenating-dehydrating phase of the substrate obtained at step g).
EFFECT: technical result is a catalyst obtained using said method has a particularly advantageous porous structure and simultaneously contains an active phase suitable for heavy hydrogenation of hydrodemetallization reactions.
