FIELD: measuring equipment.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to measurement of magnetic field induction using a magnetometer. Method for determining a characteristic of a ferroprobe during temperature tests further comprises steps of placing a ferroprobe into a magnetic shield, magnetic screen with ferroprobe is installed in a thermal chamber, DC source is connected to signal winding, a row of DC values is set in signal winding of ferroprobe and measuring second harmonic voltages in ferroprobe output signal by measuring device at normal temperature in thermal chamber, temperature in the thermal chamber is set equal to the maximum operating temperature of the ferroprobe, after a given time a similar series of values of direct current in the signal winding of the ferro probe is installed and measuring second harmonic voltages in output signal of ferroprobe measuring device at maximum operating temperature of ferroprobe.

EFFECT: simple method of determining characteristics of a ferroprobe during temperature tests, automation, shorter time, higher safety of maintenance personnel.
