FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a device for fastening a blanket module on a vacuum housing of a thermonuclear reactor. Device includes a hollow cylindrical support with two flanges and flexible rod elements installed between them, separated by slots made in the axial direction of the support. Support is connected to the blanket module by one flange and the other one is installed in the mounting seat of the vacuum housing. Slits are uniformly located along the periphery of the flanges, and each of them has an external end located on the outer surface of the support, and an internal end located on the inner surface of the support. Slots in the cylindrical support are made so that each slot has a slit symmetrical to it, relative to the outer end and the plane passing through the axis of the cylindrical support and the outer end of the slot. Each slot is made at an angle to the plane passing through the axis of the cylindrical support and the outer end of the slot, wherein the value of the angle for all the slots is the same.
EFFECT: technical result is maintaining required flexibility of support at axial forces in plane perpendicular to axis of support, while reducing axial dimension of support.
