FIELD: rails.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to joint of contact rails of subway. Joint of contact rails of subway with improved electric conductivity contains docked contact rails, steel straps arranged on both sides of rails in joint area, bolts and nuts with the help of which steel straps are fixed to jointed contact rails. Joint also comprises copper plates 35×14×400 mm, providing permissible continuous current 7,000 A, located on outer sides of steel straps, and steel plates located on outer sides of copper plates.

EFFECT: as a result, manufacturability in assembly and maintenance of joint is achieved, there is no need for welding connections, which are difficult to control.
