FIELD: construction.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the upper structure of a railway track. In an electrically insulating one-piece rail butt joint, each butt strip consists of a full-length steel core, similar in shape to the rail profile on the side of its neck, and also located at the point of contact with the rail surface of the insulating layer of composite material. Geometrical parameters of the part of the lining facing the rail neck are selected based on the maximum filling of the space in the area of the glue while ensuring the thickness of the adhesive joint in the insulating junction between the surface of the electrically insulating layer of the lining and the rail is from 0.5 to 2.5 mm in the area of the rail neck with tight contact on the supporting surfaces in the area of the rail head and bottom for the whole range of the size of the height of the sinuses of joined rails. Thickness of the electrically insulating layer lining is from 1.5 to 2.5 mm. It is made by layering on a steel core a polymer composite material having a glass transition temperature from plus 60 to plus 250 °C and the coefficient of reinforcement from 0.3 to 0.8.
EFFECT: as a result, the strength, stiffness and fatigue properties of the glue joint are increased.
