FIELD: oil and gas industry.
SUBSTANCE: flow rate regulator relates to oil industry and is intended for use as shutoff valves in oil pipelines. It is used as a control device for dosed supply of liquid in the specified direction. Proposed device comprises housing accommodating movable piston with annular groove for ball retainers. One butt end of the housing is covered with a cover, while the opposite one is open and is equipped with a flange for installation of a control valve on the oil pipeline drain valve. In the end of the piston interacting with the drain valve hole there is a check valve in the form of a spring-loaded ball and an impeller. Piston is spring-loaded with spring arranged inside it, providing its reciprocating movements. At housing open end piston damping mechanism is installed, which is made in the form of spring fixed on one side by lock nut, and on the other side it contacts with step made on piston.
EFFECT: increased durability of the device and reduced maintenance costs.
