FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method of producing halogen polyfluorobenzenes, where halogen is chlorine, bromine, reacting potassium salts of polyfluorocarboxylic acids with perhaloalkanes as halogenating agents while heating to 80–160 °C in a polar aprotic solvent. Perhalogenalkanes used are tetrachloromethane, hexachloroethane to obtain chloropolyfluorobenzenes and dibromotetrachloroethane, bromotrichloromethane to obtain bromopolyfluorobenzenes.
EFFECT: yield of end products ranges from 60 to 95 %.
