SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method for producing polyfluoroalkylmethyl ketones. The method for producing polyfluoroalkylmethyl ketones of the formula RfCOCH3, where Rf = CnF2n+1, where n = 2-8 or Rf = CF2Cl, involves the interaction of diketones of the formula Rf(CO)CH2(CO)CH3 with concentrated sulfuric acid, in which the diketone of the formula Rf(CO)CH2(CO)CH3 is added to concentrated sulfuric acid preheated to 100-140°C and at the same time the resulting target product is distilled off.
EFFECT: developing a method for producing polyfluoroalkylmethyl ketones with high yield from available reagents, which does not require special equipment.
