FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to fluororganic chemistry, in particular, to methods for synthesising pentafluoropropionic acid. Pentafluoropropionic acid and hexafluoroacetone oxime are synthesised by an interaction of perfluoro(2-methyl-pent-2-ene) with sodium nitrite in a polar solvent, and the resulting products are separated by distilling HFA oxime from the solution of salts, and then perfluoropropionic acid is isolated from the salt thereof remaining in the vat.
EFFECT: method for synthesising pentafluoropropionic acid with a yield of up to 90% and hexafluoroacetone oxime with a yield of up to 80% from perfluoro(2-methylpent-2-ene), an industrial product not previously applied for this purpose, easy in implementation, not requiring special equipment.
