FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely urology. 7 days prior to operation and after it complex medical therapy is conducted. Lithotripsy is performed with ultrasonic probe 1.5 mm at an ultrasound power of 80–100 % with a working cycle of 100 % on a fixed stone in a Hachin's 4x16 "blown" basket, with diameter of 20 mm, 5 Fr. Ureteric stent Ch No. 4.8 is inserted. If it is impossible to fix the stone in the basket due to its size of 2–3 cm, lithotripsy is performed in the centre of the stone with subsequent capture of the fragments into the basket and lithotripsy according to the method described above.

EFFECT: method enables reducing a risk of kidney parenchyma damage, hematuria, ureteral trophism disorder, postoperative dysuria, kidney ischemia; avoiding a repeated lithotripsy session, achieving fine fragmentation of the stone, reducing the stent length to 3–5 days and eliminating the risk of stone formation on it.
