FIELD: heat exchange.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to heat power engineering, namely to devices for heat exchange processes, and can be used in chemical, food and oil refining and other industries. Spiral heat exchanger includes housing with installed inside two-channel heat exchange element, supply and discharge branch pipes installed on housing, which cavities are connected to corresponding cavities of heat exchange element. Two-channel heat exchange element is made in the form of double-thread cylindrical spiral, central and peripheral parts of which are interconnected. Twisted profiled cavity formed by the turns of the first thread is connected to the supply and discharge branch pipes of the first component. Twisted profiled cavity formed by the turns of the second thread is connected to the supply and discharge branch pipes of the second component.
EFFECT: simplified design and reduced dimensions of heat exchanger, increased efficiency of heat exchange.
