SUBSTANCE: device for wetting of a portion of ground coffee in coffee machines, preferably machines for preparation of espresso coffee, in particular, without limitation, professional machines for preparation of espresso coffee. Device comprises pressurized water source (4), at least one beverage dispenser unit (13), filter holder (15) attached to said dispenser (13) with possibility of disassembly, water heater (12) arranged on the dispenser unit, a water supply system (3, 11) connecting said water source (4) under pressure to the above water heater (12), pipeline (23) for dosing, connecting heater (12) with dosing unit (13), as well as metering valve device (26) inserted into said dosing pipeline (23) for closing and opening pipeline and for supply of heated water into holder (15) of filter and its forced distribution into portion of ground coffee contained in capsule holder, as well as electronic control and programming unit (22) connected to at least above source (4) of pressurized water with said heater (12) and with said dosing valve device (26). Device also comprises an additional valve device (28) located in said water supply system (3, 11), which connects said water source (4) under pressure to said water heater (12), wherein additional valve device (28) is connected to said control and programming unit.
EFFECT: disclosed is a device for wetting a portion of ground coffee in coffee machines comprising a heating element on a dispensing assembly and a wetting method.
