FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to cardiosurgery. Distal aortic arch is reconstructed with tissues of the left common carotid artery with preservation of continuity of brachiocephalic vessels and formation of anastomosis between aortic arch and descending. That is ensured by forming an oblique anastomosis between the descending aorta and the aortic arch with the approach of the anastomosis line to the left subclavian artery with preservation of the intact internal semi-circle of the aortic arch. Aortic arch is dissected in an external semi-circle, and the descending aorta is dissected in an internal semi-circle.
EFFECT: method enables providing more effective surgical management of aortic coarctation on the working heart in combination with hypoplasia of the distal aortic arch by using the autologous carotid arteries with maintaining continuity of the brachiocephalic vessels and optimizing the aortic architectonics, as well as reduce the risk of compression of the left main bronchus, as well as increases the growth potential of this segment of the aorta.
