FIELD: chemistry.

SUBSTANCE: protective article containing sheet (100; 300; 400; 600) with first surface (101; 301; 401; 601) and at least one adhesive section (102; 302a; 302b; 404; 604) located on first surface (101; 301; 401; 601), wherein one or each adhesive portion (102; 302a; 302b; 404; 604) comprises a water-based adhesive which enables to unstable adhesion of sheet (100; 300; 400; 600) to the object, wherein when folding sheet (100; 300; 400; 600) such that the first portion of first surface (101, 301; 401; 601) faces the second portion of first surface (101; 301; 401; 601), first adhesive section (102; 302a; 302b; 404; 604) and second adhesive section (102; 302a; 302b; 404; 604) interact with each other, wherein the water-based adhesive is selected such that it relates to a type which enables to separate the first and second adhesive areas (102; 302a; 302b; 404; 604) when sheet (100; 300; 400; 600) is unfolded during use, as well as allowing to stick sheet (100; 300; 400; 600) to object. Also disclosed are a protective article (version) and a method of making a protective article. Technical result - due to creation of protective article with application of acrylic adhesive on water base, protective article is safe to use.

EFFECT: in production conditions, the water-based adhesive can be relatively safe and simple to handle, which will considerably reduce costs for making the protective article, as well as increase the speed with which protective articles can be made.
