FIELD: measurement technology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to control of industrial safety of dynamic equipment by means of diagnostic monitoring (pumps, compressors, fans and other units and machines, their combinations mainly in complex process units), for example, at oil refineries and oil and gas and chemical enterprises. Method is based on measurement of vibration parameters as diagnostic features, detection of standard zones of technical condition of diagnosed equipment, for example, vibration acceleration, using a computer diagnostic monitoring system, forming a knowledge base based on averaging statistical data calculating intensity and probability of equipment failures depending on current and total operating time of equipment in each standard area of technical condition, received values of probability of failure-free operation as component of technological component of risk of operation of equipment are visualized as direct integral index of industrial safety of equipment operation in range from 0 to 1 or from 0 to 100 percent.
EFFECT: technical result consists in real-time, in real time, obtaining direct quantitative assessment of industrial safety, high reliability of industrial control of control of industrial safety from position of risk-oriented approach.
