FIELD: radio engineering and communications.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of electrical radio engineering, namely to the radio communication equipment, and can be used in single-frequency data transmission systems, as well as in radio sounding systems for measuring Doppler shift of signal carrier frequency in information-measuring devices without a priori information on modulating message. To achieve the technical result, receiving an information phase-shift signal corresponding to N symbols, evaluating phase values F1, F2, F3 each three adjacent symbols, phase difference is calculated ΔF1= Φ3-2⋅F2+ F1 and ΔF2=F3-F1, obtained phase differences are converted ΔF'1=atan2(sin(ΔF1), cos(ΔF1)) and ΔF'2= atan2(sin(ΔF2), cos(ΔF2)), calculating difference of converted phase differences ΔΨ=ΔF'2-ΔF'1, after which calculating exponent, obtaining value exp (i⋅ΔΨ), are summed with obtained N-2 values of exponentials after which the phase of total accumulated vector is calculated, obtaining phase value ψ, which is multiplied by factor of 1/(4πTsymbol)=Fsymbol/(4π), where Tsymbol is symbol duration, Fsymbol is the symbol repetition frequency, resulting in the Doppler frequency shift value.
EFFECT: determination of Doppler shift of frequency on information (that is to say unknown) phase-manipulated signal with absolute, relative or phase-difference phase manipulation.
