FIELD: water treatment.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to the field of wastewater treatment and can be used, mainly, in treatment facilities of industrial enterprises, effluents of which contain high concentrations of pollutants of various origin. Method of treating wastewater using VELR includes adding flocculants or coagulants. Neutralization is carried out in the working zone of the apparatus with a rotating electromagnetic field, followed by settling and filtration of neutralization products. Industrial wastewater is treated in in-series connected devices with counter-directed rotating electromagnetic field. Flocculants or coagulants are added to industrial wastewater after their exit from apparatus with rotating electric field. Proposed device comprises coaxially installed modules with reaction tubular chambers with ferromagnetic particles. Inside the housing of each module there is an inductor of a rotating magnetic field. Tubular reaction chambers are interconnected in series. Direction of rotation of electromagnetic field of adjacent chambers is shifted by 180° relative to each other.
EFFECT: group of inventions increases efficiency and efficiency of separation of phases.
