SUBSTANCE: invention relates to radio engineering and can be used in radio communication. Broadband radio transmitter comprises a laser with a pumping generator, an optical modulator, an optical device for forming a beam and inserting it into a fiber-optic communication line, N fiber-optic cables and an antenna post with N solar cells attached thereto. At that, orientation along vertical along antenna post of electronic and hole conductivity terminals of all solar cells is identical and upper terminal of each previous solar cell is connected to lower terminal of each next solar cell, and the lower terminal of the first solar cell is connected to the upper terminal of the last Nth solar cell.

EFFECT: technical result is broader range of operating frequencies of broadband radio transmitter, including communication bands in LF, MF, shortwave and ultra-shortwave ranges.
