FIELD: radio engineering and communications.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to radio engineering and can be used as an antenna for emitting high-frequency electromagnetic field in ranges from VHF to VLW. Broadband antenna consists of two hollow cylinders and output cables. On walls of cylinders are fixed solar batteries, spaced from each other by distance l, determined from the condition l<<r, l<<λ, where r is distance to receiving point, λ is wavelength of maximum operating frequency.
EFFECT: enabling constant and independent supply of high-frequency signal energy supplied to the antenna from input resistance of the antenna in a wide band of working frequencies.
